Christ’s death did not diminish his position in the Universe, but upon being raised from the dead, that ensured he would maintain his status for all eternity.
So here’s the question for us: If the purpose of Christ’s death and resurrection is so that he would have the highest position in everything, does he have the highest position in our lives?
If we are called to love the Lord our God will all of our heart, soul, mind and strength, do we present all of the parts of our being to the Lord for his approval?
Don’t just think about doctrine here; think about daily living with your family; think about walking in the Spirit which brings about the fruit of the Spirit; think about dying to your will in order to accomplish God’s will. Lastly, does how you battle in your thought life indicate that Christ has the highest position in your life?
