–There is no other knowledge that can be described by the characteristics of 2 Tim 3:16-17.
–All of what is ultimately useful or beneficial for Christian ministry to others is contained in the Scriptures.
–Based on v.16, a significant implementation of the Scriptures will be of a corrective nature.
–The intended outcome of training in the Scriptures (and by extension, teaching, reproof and correction) is righteous living (not emotional wholeness or circumstantial prosperity).
–When someone has developed convictions from this passage about the word of God, that person does not need to be on the hunt for new ideas, but rather just needs to focus in on persevering in those convictions.
Let us all trust in and revere the precious and valuable word of God (Ps 119:72; Is 66:2).
